Hello Yall! After a long, hot day at Animal Kingdom, I site before you with a biscuit, mix greens, tunes, and an $8.99 12 pack of Corona! Ahhhh. Don't have to work til 6pm tomorrow so I feel a creative night ahead! A post, some drawing, surfing, and beers! And later for the munchin' hour, A new addiction will only do...Blue Cheese Burger with hot sauce! Had one at the Cast Lunch Spot today and decided one just won't do.
While enjoying my 'tasty burger', I overheard a conversation about being 'Offended' about something someone said. Folks, let me say...Stop being a damn pussy! Shit, taking something offensive, is a choice you make. Being offended is a part of life! Be pissed and move on. We have no right to ask someone to appologise for stating their mind to a few OR the masses. You hear the real shit when people supposedly speak offensive or controversial. wheather,'what someones says', IS truely offensive, or just you and the 6.5 other persons on the planet, FIND it offensive, is irrelevent! If you find people talking offensive..really listen. You'll learn something about yourself or the person ranting uncontrolably! Either way, just sit back, take a sip, and smile with a subtle, diabolical smile! You'll feel GOOD, not offended.

ReplyDeleteVery true Sarah...if that works for them, thats cool. My overall point was, choose how you percieve things in a benificial way...to yourself and maybe others. Don't take the easy way out.
